Cypress Stage is building a professional home for live theatre in
Cypress, Texas - a place where stories, artists, families, students,
seniors, and neighbors come together.
Led by a seasoned artistic team with decades of experience in acting, directing, producing, and theatre education, Cypress Stage is preparing to
bring bold, intimate, unforgettable theatre experiences to our community.

We’re Building Something Bigger Than a Season
Cypress Stage was created to fill a meaningful gap in our community: Cypress is one of the
fastest-growing areas in the region, yet it still lacks a dedicated performing arts theatre of its own. Our goal is to change that.
While our original performance venue is no longer available, this moment has strengthened our commitment to securing a lasting home for Cypress Stage. We are actively working to identify and prepare a new venue that can support our Mainstage productions, Youth Theatre, Adult Daytime Theatre for Seniors, acting classes, and future community programming.
This is not simply about finding a room with a stage.
It is about creating a cultural heartbeat for Cypress.

Cypress Stage is led by a seasoned artistic team with decades of experience in acting, directing, producing, theatre education, and community-based performance. Together, Founder & Executive Director Janye Anderson, Artistic Director Ron Jones, and Associate Artistic Director - Youth Theatre Marcy Bannor bring the vision, skill, and professional leadership needed to help Cypress Stage become a lasting cultural home for Cypress.

Original works, rediscovered classics, audience favorites, comedies, dramas,
and actor-driven performances presented in an intimate theatre setting.
Youth Theatre
Uplifting, imaginative productions created to introduce children, teens, and
families to the magic of live theatre.
Daytime Senior Theatre
Accessible daytime performances thoughtfully selected for older audiences - engaging, uplifting, comfortable, and filled with the joy of live storytelling.
Acting Classes and Theatre Education
Training opportunities for youth, adults, and seniors taught by
experienced theatre professionals.
